Dennis Bray to Lead VMworld Breakout Session on Highly Automated IT Service Delivery

July 22, 2015 -

Dennis Bray, named earlier this year by VMware as a 2015 vExpert, will be joining forces with Chip Copper, strategic technologist for Brocade, to teach one of the Breakout Sessions at this year’s VMworld in San Francisco at the end of August. They will be discussing advanced network architecture in the software-defined datacenter (SDDC) to deploy highly automated IT service delivery based on NSX.

The course will address the issue of government agencies, at all levels, striving to bring efficiency into their IT operations by leveraging SDDC architecture to bring down costs, increase efficiency, and meet their goals of highly satisfied end-users. The latest VMware technologies to virtualize storage and networks makes it compelling for IT leaders to move their IT infrastructure to SDDC architecture.

This session will focus on VMware NSX technology that virtualizes networks. Bray and Copper will provide a detailed architectural description of deployment of NSX based on a California government agency real-use case and proof-of-concept to showcase the solution. The class will be presented on Monday, August 31, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (PST).

Dennis Bray, chief technical officer at ENS-Inc, has an extensive and proven track record with complex and mission-critical projects for California state agencies and has acted as lead architect on numerous virtualization initiatives.
